Games Editor – DorkShelf.com

After contributing to DorkShelf.com for over a year, I became an Associate Editor in the fall of 2013 before taking over as the Games Editor in May of 2014. I’ve held the position ever since. During that time I’ve worked tirelessly to build an audience while cultivating a reputation for thoughtful, intelligent analyses of media and video games. It is my job to ensure that the site has regular content and I am constantly working with a team of writers to help find the best version of every article.

Thankfully, that approach has proven successful over the course of the past year. Articles that I have written or edited have generated the highest traffic figures in the history of the site and our staff and profile have grown accordingly. We kicked off 2015 with the launch of The WhaleCast, the new gaming podcast that I host alongside Jon Remedios. So far the venture has been a success and I expect the site will continue to expand well into the future.

Senior Content Editor – Comics & Gaming Monthly

As the Senior Content Editor at C&G Monthly, I oversaw the magazine’s online presence for the last year of my tenure. I wrote and edited dozens of blog posts every week chronicling the latest news in the gaming industry, overseeing a team of other writers and producing daily updates to keep readers informed.

Aside from the blog – which I ran almost entirely on my own – I was also a regular contributor to the printed magazine. I frequently consulted on layout and strategy while copyediting the magazine prior to publication.
